Memory offers deeper personal customization of the model’s behavior by allowing it to remember useful information from past interactions.

What is Memory?

Memory stores information you choose to share, allowing the model to carry context across conversations. This helps the AI provide more consistent and relevant responses over time.

You can use memory to:

  • Remember important details about your projects or team
  • Maintain a preferred writing style or tone
  • Recall key facts like names, tools, or goals

All stored memories are tied to your account and are available across all chats. However, memory is not available when using Assistants.

To use memory, it must be enabled at the from user’s account.
When active, you can:

  • Add memory: “Remember that our CRM is HubSpot.”
  • Update memory: “Update the team lead name to Sarah.”
  • Use memory: “Continue the proposal we worked on yesterday.”
  • Clear memory: “Forget everything saved.”

You can manage your stored memories from your Chat settings panel.

Limitations

  • You can store up to 50 memories at a time.
  • Older entries must be removed manually to make space for new ones.
  • Memory is only available in models that support this feature.
