# Overview of AI Agents | AICamp

> Explore how AI agents work how to build them, how they communicate, and how they enhance your team’s AI usage with structured behavior and context.

AI Agents in AICamp help your team automate tasks, generate content, answer questions, and interact with company knowledge — all through natural conversation.

Each agent is built with a clear purpose, reusable by others, and customizable based on your workflows.

## What is an AI Agent?

An AI Agent is a reusable, structured tool powered by one of AICamp’s supported models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.). It combines:

* A defined **persona** (name, tone, instruction)
* A starter **conversation** to guide the user
* Access to uploaded **documents or knowledge**
* Visibility settings to control **who can use it**

Once created, anyone with access can start chatting with the agent — just like a regular AI conversation, but focused and tailored to a specific job.

## Why Use AI Agents?

* Automate repeatable work with consistent prompts
* Build intelligent tools for internal teams (e.g. HR, Sales, Legal)
* Let your team interact with company data through conversation
* Enable cross-team knowledge sharing
* Save time by standardizing how common tasks are done with AI

Go to the **“Agents”** section in the left sidebar.\
From there, you can:

* Browse the shared **Company Agent Library**
* Create a new agent
* Edit or manage your agents
* Start chatting with any agent you have access to
